With the weather barely cooperative, this is the only lunar eclipse shot we could get. We had a short (almost) break in the clouds to capture the tail end of the eclipse.
Other views of the moon today: Larchmont - Regina - Minneapolis - Chicago - River Falls - Forks - Twin Cities - Stayton - Maple Ridge - Washington DC
You managed a bit better than we did.
ReplyDeleteWe had five days of clear night skys and then just when we want one the *%$£*@@* clouds come and we can't see a darned thing.
I'd have probably slept through it anyway.
I was sleeping! I bet you got lots of use out of your new lens though. :)
ReplyDeleteYours is the first photo of the eclipse that I've come across. Very good. Thanks for the links too.
ReplyDeleteCool pics! Clear here, but the temp was just about 0. Darn cold. I had to get out my wife's Canon S5 Is with teleconverter that is 648mm equivalent to get some pics. My XTI only has the 17-85mm lens. more lens' in the future.
ReplyDeleteA timeless phenomenon which continues to fascinate people into this century as well. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteNice photos! We weren't able to see any of the eclipse, due to clouds, so I enjoyed seeing yours.
