Storm Watch 2008

The first major storm of 2008 has left us with about 1.25 inches of rain so far...
we can tell this from our new weather station! You can see how much rain we get or, more regularly, how much we didn't get here: http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=KCASANDI78 and here: http://ezentmyer.googlepages.com/missiontrails-golfcrest

  1. Nice angle on the picture. Did you have to lie down in the wet to get it?

  2. I did! It was actually hardest to figure out what the picture was going to look like because I had a hard time seeing through the view finder at that angle.

  3. ::laughs:: I find that some of my better pictures occur when I can't see my LCD screen at all! Nice one... and sorry about the rain.

  4. your California storm is big news here...I had to actually go and look up "Truckee", Ca as that is all they are referring to on the weather channel and I had no idea where it was!! And do people forget how to drive when it rains in San Diego?

  7. Storms or not, tjis is a fabulous pic! I noticed in your comments you had to lie down for this one. Great job! I just bought a DSLR and the biggest thing to get used to is the fixed LCS screen. My old camera, the screen flipped around making pics similar to this quite easy without laying down. Thanks for the inspiration, I will try to capture more pics like this...when the snow melts.
