It's a sad day in our house. My sweet kitty Gracie had to be put to sleep this afternoon. She was about 10 years old and today we found out that she had an aggressive form of cancer in her jaw. She was in a lot of pain in the last couple of days and had stopped eating. We'll miss her very much. This picture was taken as we were taking down the Christmas decorations this past January. Here's another nice one...

Oh, you touched my heart. Losing a pet is very traumatic, and I am sorry that you had to lose her. Sounds like you made the right decision.

I'm sorry for your family's loss, Mrs Z. Gracie looks like she was a wonderful cat. I'm glad that you and your family were able to share many good years of happiness with her.
ReplyDeleteOh my. I am sorry to learn this. My daughter had one of her cats, Ivan, put to sleep. His kidneys failed and he was getting very old. I hope you get through this trying time. I lost my Autum Eve, a female Toy Fox Terrier, in September last year and still miss her. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sad for all the Z's. Gracie was a good kitty and I'll miss bunking with her when I come to visit.
